Arthur Phillips Letters (Mss. Acc. 2010.604): Letters, 1917-1923, written by Arthur Phillips, a private stationed in France during World War I. Topics include his impressions of France, the weather, and news about people from his hometown. There is also a postcard that was written in 1923.
Gray and Orange William & Mary Pennant (Acc. 2010.606): One felt gray, green, and orange William & Mary pennant. The background of the pennant is gray, a green triangle on the edge of the pennant, and the words "William & Mary" written in orange. It is in fair condition and is approximately 8" x 3 1/2." Part of the University Archives Artifact Collection, UA 13.
1930 Commencement Program (Acc. 2010.607): One leatherbound copy of the Commencement program for the 1930 academic year. Contains a list of all the graduates by diploma. Part of the Commencement Collection, UA 314.
Swem Library Ruler Magnet (Acc. 2010.608): One green and white magnet shaped like a ruler with "Swem Library Rules!" written in green. It was most likely given away to students at an orientation event. Part of the University Archives Artifact Collection, UA 13.
List of Bid Proposals for Taliaferro Hall (Acc. 2010.609): Contains a list of contractors with their bids to construct Taliaferro Hall at William & Mary. Included in the list are the base bids for each contractor but also various floor, wall, and electrical options for the building. Charles M. Robinson was the architect for the project. Mark H. Sullivan Diary (Mss. Acc. 2010.631): Contains a diary, 1865-1866, of Mark H. Sullivan of New Bedford, MA. He was a sailor during the Civil War.
Patsy Emory Laboratory Manual (Mss. Acc. 2010.633): Textbook titled: Laboratory Manual of Inorganic Chemistry, "One Hundred Topics in General, Qualitative, and Quantitative Chemistry", by Rufus P. Williams. It was published by Ginn & Company, 1896. This copy carries the name of Patsy Emory of Chase City, Va, and the dates 1916-1917. The book contains 100 experiments, each explained on the left-hand side of the opened book, with a blank page on the right, on which the student recorded her observations and findings. Teacher comments on the inside of front cover and on front flyleaf.
Carl M. Bunker Letters (Mss. Acc. 2010.634): Letters, 1944-1945, written by Carl M. Bunker, a private in the US Army during World War II, to his parents in Dayton, Ohio.
