Swem Library's Special Collections Research Center is excited to introduce TribeTrek, a new app that showcases the history of our campus. Photographs from the University Archives illustrate self-guided campus tours, allowing users to see how buildings and landmarks have changed through the years, while at the same time learning about the many traditions at William & Mary.
Each TribeTrek stop contains a brief history and photographs of the site, and directions for getting there from your current location. TribeTrek covers over seventy sites (and growing!) that range from academic buildings, such as Tucker Hall (as seen in the above photograph), and athletic facilities, such as Zable Stadium and William & Mary Hall, to landmarks such as the Sunken Garden and the Lord Botetourt Statue.
Download TribeTrek today! To see more photographs of the people, places, and events in William & Mary's history, please explore the University Archives Photograph Collection (UA 8) in the Special Collections Research Center.
