- Researcher IDs & Identity Management: We assist faculty with creating and populating Researcher IDs (i.e., ORCiD, ScopusID). In consultation with and on behalf of faculty, we clean and merge ScopusIDs to ensure research is correctly attributed to the researcher and the institution.
- Research Information Management Systems (RIMS): We work with faculty and administrators to ensure that publications are included and coded appropriately within Watermark Faculty Success, and we assist faculty in syncing researcher IDs and content with Faculty Success.
- Bibliometrics & Research Impact: We support faculty and administrators in promotion, accreditation, and assessment efforts by gathering citation data, analyzing publication trends across disciplines, retrieving and wrangling large publication sets from various indexes, creating custom publication sets for analysis in SciVal, and benchmarking departments against those of peer institutions as part of both School of Business and campus initiatives. We advise on alternative metrics and other non-traditional forms of influence to holistically demonstrate the impact of research and scholarship at William & Mary.
- Research Network Visualization: Using a variety of software and tools, we work with researchers to visualize their research connections and expand opportunities for collaboration.
