On Wednesday, November 30, the Special Collections will be hosting a Google+ Hangout from 6:30pm until 8:30pm. Google+ Hangouts are an informal way to talk face to face online without the hassle typically associated with video chat. Feel free to stop by and ask reference questions, get help with a project, or just say hi. Think of this as open office hours to talk with an archivist from Special Collections, but you are able to do it from anywhere in the world. The link to join the hangout will be posted on our Google+ page, and all you need to join is a free Google+ account and a webcam.
There are a maximum of nine people allowed in the room at a time, so if you cannot get in at any certain time, try again in a few minutes! Do note this is a public chat, and that everyone in the room will be able to hear everyone else. Also remember that you can always email us at spcoll@wm.edu for any and all questions. Hope to see you next Wednesday night!
