With more than 300 online databases available through Swem, you can understandably feel a bit overwhelmed. Where to start? Which databases are the best for specific disciplines or topics?
To help match researchers with databases, a library team recently created a new Library Databases webpage that:
- streamlines finding databases by subject, title, and keyword
- identifies "best bets" -- good databases with which to start
- provides helpful new subjects, such as Biography and Statistics & Polls
- ....and more!
These improvements reflect feedback from researchers and library staff, coupled with diligent work on the part of web programmer Laura Hild; librarians Mary Molineux, Debby Weiss, Hope Yelich, and Alan Zoellner; and student assistants Amy Filipek and Erin Morris.
